Blue Hollywood Street Sanctuary’s mission is to provide a safe, compassionate space where Skid Row’s most marginalized individuals can access life-saving harm reduction services, essential resources, and the richness of community.

We are a peer-led organization that serves unhoused and precariously housed, elderly and drug-using populations, providing direct services including case management, crisis response, system navigation, medical advocacy, wound care, job training and placement, and community building. We offer housing referrals and medical and mental care linkages, with partnerships that bring these services directly to the street. Our Street Sanctuary is a 24-hour, low-barrier safe zone where strangers become family and everyone can access the urgent resources they need to thrive.

We do this work because we strive toward a world where every person, regardless of circumstance, has access to safety, dignity, and unwavering support. We envision a future in which Skid Row and communities like it are free from stigma, systemic inequities, and preventable harm, where individuals can heal, build community, and thrive with autonomy and purpose.

Through trauma-informed services and advocacy, we aspire to create lasting change, uplifting the voices and resilience of those too often overlooked.
