As a Los Angeles city-certified syringe services program and public health provider in Skid Row, Blue Hollywood is actively responding to the overdose crisis through urgent, life-saving interventions.

We believe that drug use should not be criminalized and that the most effective way to support healthy and fulfilling lives is to meet people where they are in the moment, navigate challenges in community and provide the necessary tools to keep individuals save as they do.

We provide wound care and harm-reduction supplies, such as safer-injecting kits and naloxone, around the clock at the Sanctuary, and through weekly outreach within the extended neighborhood. As an organization that is deeply engrained in the community, our success in saving lives is based on intimate relationships, knowing where people are and when they are in a state of risk.
